Ushering in a new level of luxury to Nosara, the residential-style hotel is officially opening its doors in January 2024, featuring just nine expansive residences including a 4-bedroom rooftop penthouse, an exclusive tropical rooftop lounge serving coffee, cocktails and small bites from local purveyors, family-friendly amenities, and a studio space set to host world-class speakers, curated classes and wellness sessions. Set on the iconic Playa Guiones, the property is the perfect harmony of luxury, connection and learning, placed just steps away from Nosara's restaurants, shops, bars and yoga studios.
A few Silvestre Nosara highlights:
-
Spacious, Sleek & Sustainable Design: Silvestre seamlessly interweaves the splendor of a hotel with the privacy and space of a home, offering a sleek and modern design that blends into the lush jungle surroundings. With Le Labo amenities, cold plunges and saunas in select accommodations and full kitchens with natural stone floors, the spacious grand residences provide functional luxury and laid-back opulence.
-
Recharge & Reconnect: Inspired by its destination and community, Silvestre helps travelers foster authentic connections and self-discovery through mindful programming, fitness and wellness classes, and a world-class speaker series, which kicks off in February with Dan Buettner, New York Times-bestselling author of Blue Zones.
-
Where Surf Meets Luxury: A surfer's dream, Playa Guiones offers over 330 days per year of rideable wave conditions. Guests receive a custom performance surfboard from Bali-based shaper Jim Banks to use during their stay, and private or group surf lessons can be arranged at the property's onsite surf school. The residences also each have a unique surfboard wall decor from Marbella-based shaper, Douglas Evan, telling compelling stories about surfing.
-
A Seamless Stay For Families: Created with families in mind, a stay at Silvestre includes complimentary airport transfers, classes for both adults and kids in their studio space and electric bikes. Groups can also add grocery delivery, private chef dinners, babysitting, ecological tours, massages and shopping at an additional charge.
-
Sustainability at Silvestre: With a team of passionate environmentalists behind the property, Silvestre minimizes environmental impact through careful design, water conservation, insulation, and energy efficiency. In addition to donations, Silvestre has also partnered with several local non-profit organizations including Costas Verdes to support coastal ecosystem restoration through reforestation projects, and Bomberos de Nosara, where guests can participate in tree planting and volunteer opportunities.
-
Fathers & Friends Turned Hoteliers: The idea for Silvestre was sparked when Co-Founders and friends Chris Ingham Brooke and Ilya Korolev spent several months on vacation in Nosara with their families, including daughters born just days apart. With a desire to create a community-driven space with family-friendly accommodations, they combined their interests and passions (from surf, sustainability and social responsibility to architecture and design) to build the property of their dreams.
