In Ipoh, the AC Hotel By Marriott, Ipoh marks Marriott's elegant entry into one of Malaysia's most culturally rich destinations, bringing homage to the city's storied past. The new property offers 291 minimalistic-designed guest rooms, with ergonomic workstations amongst a neutral palette to provide both productivity and relaxation to both business and leisure guests.
The property features three distinct dining options: AC Kitchen, which serves a breakfast menu that combines continental classics with Malaysian influences; Luk Yu, which specializes in authentic Cantonese cuisine; and AC Lounge, offering European-inspired tapas and beverages in a contemporary setting.
For business travelers, the hotel offers a Tin Mine Club, a nod to Ipoh's tin-mining heyday, providing a meeting space for groups up to 200 people. The property offers a range of event spaces, including Ipoh's largest pillarless ballroom. The Grand Ballroom accommodates up to 800 guests in banquet style or 1,600 in theatre seating.
