Hari Ganga Niwas – IHCL SeleQtions

Strengthening Presence in Haridwar; IHCL Seleqtions Unveils Hari Ganga Niwas

The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), India's largest hospitality company, today unveiled Hari Ganga Niwas - IHCL SeleQtions in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Nestled on the banks of the Ganges, this marks the second SeleQtions hotel following the acclaimed Pilibhit House in Haridwar.

Tucked away just beyond the bustling lanes of Haridwar's riverside market, Hari Ganga Niwas - IHCL SeleQtions has stood by the revered Ganges since 1913. Each room designed as a serene sanctuary offers weeping views of the river. At Ghar Se, the all-day vegetarian restaurant, guests are treated to soulful ghar ka khaana crafted from hyperlocal ingredients. The retreat offers signature experiences including guided heritage walks through Haridwar's storied quarters, immersive culinary journeys and evenings graced by the Ganga Aarti at the hotel's private ghat.

Haridwar, one of India's seven holiest cities, is known for its iconic Har ki Pauri aarti, ancient ghats, and vibrant festivals like the Kumbh Mela, making the city is a living tapestry of spirituality and culture.

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 34 hotels in Uttarakhand, including 21 under development.

An ensemble of curated experiences, SeleQtions encapsulates an inimitable collection of properties with a distinct character - often in differentiated location. With a strong story beneath; either of its historic lineage, design principle or just the creative premise, these spaces make for matchless experiences for the experiential traveller. The theme, décor, service and even the cuisine is special and peculiar to its premise.
