The Hobson Cambridge By Adina

Building on a long-standing collaboration with Adina (TFE Hotels), B3 Designers carefully responded to the building's Victorian character, celebrating its iconic arches, tall windows, and grand staircase, while introducing a refined, guest-focused layout and contemporary comforts tailored to Adina's apartment hotel offering.

The design scope spans all 56 studio apartments, meeting spaces, communal areas, and the hotel's food and beverage destination, Oz & Isle, creating environments that feel inviting, flexible, and intuitively planned. A considered palette of furniture, lighting, fabrics, and decorative details brings warmth and understated elegance throughout the property, aligning with Adina's emphasis on comfort and liveability.

Each studio apartment has been designed to feel both cosy and functional, combining soft textiles, layered lighting, and practical kitchenettes to create a relaxed, home-from-home atmosphere without compromising on modern convenience.

The lobby and reception areas were a key focus of the design, with B3 introducing a biophilic concept filled with lush greenery, tactile finishes, and layered seating to soften the scale of the open-plan interior. Carefully zoned furniture layouts, integrated work areas, and subtle transitions guide guests through the space, while its day-to-night adaptability allows it to evolve from breakfast and informal meetings to evening drinks and socialising.

Strategic lighting, seasonal focal points such as a central feature tree, and nature-inspired artwork further enhance the space, complementing the building's historic architecture. The result is a welcoming, multifunctional hub that positions The Hobson Cambridge by Adina as both a destination aparthotel and a vibrant social space for guests and the local community alike.
