High Hotels Ltd. Begins Construction on First Tempo by Hilton in Pennsylvania, Expanding Brand’s Mid-Atlantic Footprint
High Hotels Ltd., a subsidiary of High Real Estate Group, today announced it has begun construction on a 140-room Tempo by Hilton in Bethlehem’s SouthSide Arts District. The project marks the first Tempo by Hilton in Pennsylvania and represents a strategic expansion of both the Tempo by Hilton brand and High Hotels in the Mid-Atlantic.
Located adjacent to the ArtsQuest Creative Factory, SteelStacks, and Lehigh University, the hotel is being developed as part of a vibrant, walkable district that anchors Bethlehem’s growing arts and cultural scene. The project reflects continued investment in Bethlehem as a hub for corporate growth, higher education, and tourism, supported by an expanding visitor base across the Lehigh Valley.
Tempo by Hilton is designed for modern business and leisure travelers, offering thoughtfully designed guest rooms, flexible public spaces for working and socializing, and a focus on wellness and balance. The property is anticipated to open in October 2027 and will create more than 50 jobs.
The development represents a fully integrated High companies project, with land development led by High Associates, architectural design by Greenfield Architects, construction by High Construction Company, alongside ownership and operation by High Hotels Ltd.
