andBeyond Launches andBeyond Sandibe Under Canvas in the Okavango Delta
andBeyond has expanded its Botswana Under Canvas portfolio with the launch of andBeyond Sandibe Under Canvas, which officially opened in March 2026. Together with andBeyond Nxabega Under Canvas and the newly refurbished andBeyond Chobe Under Canvas, the camp completes a seamless seven-night circuit through Botswana's most iconic wild places.
andBeyond Sandibe Under Canvas is set within one of the Okavango's most wildlife-rich concessions, renowned for year-round sightings of lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog. Days begin with the calls of the wild and close under a sky dense with stars. Game drives, walking safaris and community visits invite deeper discovery, revealing the pulse of predator country with every step.
The camp is designed for minimal impact without compromising on comfort, offering an intimate experience with just three tents and a maximum of six guests. Each tent features super king beds, double showers and vanities, standing fans, running water throughout and Starlink Wi-Fi — a first for the Botswana Under Canvas offering. Powered by a solar plant and supported by in-room power packs, USB ports and vehicle charging stations, the camp provides reliable connectivity while operating in harmony with the environment. Interiors reflect the Delta's textures and tones, combining earthy greens, light wood, woven fibres and brushed metal to create a refined yet effortless sanctuary.
Shared logistics with neighbouring lodges minimise environmental footprint, while partnerships with the nearby communities of Shorobe, Sexaxa, Gogomoga and Tsutsubega support employment, mentorship and conservation awareness through Wild Impact, andBeyond's long-standing community and conservation partner. This reflects the brand's enduring ethos of Care of Land, Wildlife and People, ensuring each stay contributes to the wellbeing of both guest and place.
The Chobe and the Okavango Delta: An Under Canvas Adventure itinerary starts from USD 4,840 per person sharing for seven nights.
