Scheduled to welcome guests in the first quarter of 2027, The Oberoi Sukoonvilas, Wadi Safar will be the first hotel to open in Wadi Safar, offering a distinctive expression of luxury hospitality deeply connected to the destination’s landscape, history and cultural identity. Set atop a dramatic 70-metre escarpment and spread across more than 37 acres of meticulously landscaped terrain, the resort will feature 60 standalone villas and 10 branded residences. Designed by internationally acclaimed architectural firm Aedas, with interiors by leading global design studio Blink, the resort reflects the architectural heritage of the region through refined craftsmanship, shaded courtyards, azure waterbodies and a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. 

Dining experiences will celebrate craftsmanship, creativity and cultural connection. Guests will enjoy contemporary Indian dining at Yatra, curated by Michelin-starred Chef Rohit Ghai; artisanal pastries and café culture at Linnet, led by acclaimed pastry chef Lily Vanilli; international cuisine at Beyla; and relaxed poolside dining overlooking the escarpment. 

Wellbeing will be central to the guest experience. The resort’s ASMI by Oberoi wellness program will offer signature wellness journeys complemented by hammams, indoor wellness pools, fitness facilities and a spectacular 65-metre infinity pool overlooking Wadi Safar, creating opportunities for relaxation, renewal and quiet reflection amidst one of Saudi Arabia’s most dramatic natural settings.
