Shilla Monogram is The Shilla Hotels & Resorts’ upper-upscale lifestyle brand, combining The Shilla’s hospitality expertise with the character of each destination. Following openings in Da Nang, Vietnam; Gangneung, Korea; and Xi’an, China, the Hanoi property will become the brand’s fourth hotel worldwide and its second in Vietnam, further expanding the company’s international hotel network.

The hotel is situated in Starlake, a 186-hectare urban district near the west shore of West Lake. As the area develops into Hanoi's new administrative, diplomatic and financial hub, Starlake is becoming a new center of activity in the capital. The hotel offers convenient access to Hanoi’s key commercial districts while serving guests visiting the city for both work and leisure.

West Lake adds another dimension to the location. Covering around 500 hectares with a shoreline of about 17 kilometers, Hanoi's largest lake is a destination for walks, dining and cultural discovery, home to landmarks such as the 1,500-year-old Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi. It offers a quieter setting alongside the energy of the capital. This combination of a developing urban district and an established lakeside destination gives Shilla Monogram Hanoi Westlake a distinct connection to its surroundings.

That sense of place carries through to the hotel’s design. Inspired by Vietnam’s terraced rice fields, its layered forms reinterpret a familiar landscape in a contemporary way, bringing local inspiration into spaces designed for the varied rhythms of a stay in Hanoi.

The hotel has 319 guest rooms designed for both work and relaxation. The 42-square-meter Deluxe rooms combine premium bedding with space to work and unwind, while the Signature Suites, located on the hotel’s top floor, offer expansive living areas and panoramic views of Hanoi’s skyline.

Dining M, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, offers an international selection alongside Korean dishes, while Pastry M serves pastries, coffee and tea in a more casual setting. The hotel also offers two specialty restaurants: JINJI serves Korean cuisine and features six private dining rooms suited to business meals and smaller gatherings, while HASUNGO offers contemporary Chinese dining for guests and local visitors.

On the 35th floor, the Monogram Lounge, outdoor infinity pool and Bar M form a rooftop destination with views toward West Lake and across the city. The lounge offers breakfast and happy hour services, while the pool and bar provide places to relax after a day in Hanoi. An indoor pool, fitness facilities and a spa offer further ways to recharge during a stay.

For corporate functions and social occasions, the hotel features a 700-square-meter Grand Ballroom that can be divided to accommodate events of different sizes. Meeting rooms, a pre-function area and an outdoor deck provide additional options for gatherings. With accommodation, dining and leisure facilities in the same property, guests can move easily between business, events and time to unwind.

To mark the opening, Shilla Monogram Hanoi Westlake will offer the “Hanoi First Monogram Moment” package, featuring breakfast for two at Dining M, welcome drinks at Bar M, early check-in at 12 p.m. and late check-out at 2 p.m. The package is designed for guests to enjoy a more relaxed stay while experiencing the hotel’s dining and leisure offerings. More information and reservations are available through The Shilla Hotels & Resorts’ official website.

The opening will strengthen The Shilla Hotels & Resorts’ presence in Vietnam and extend the Shilla Monogram brand to the country’s capital. Building on its growing portfolio across Asia, The Shilla Hotels & Resorts will continue to expand its global presence, bringing its distinctive Korean hospitality together with the character of each destination to create locally inspired experiences for travelers around the world.
