Casa Cook El Gouna Enters its Next Chapter with the Unveiling of New Signature Suites and Reimagined Guest Spaces
This autumn, Casa Cook El Gouna enters its next era as it unveils brand new signature suites and reimagined guest spaces. Set between the shores of the Red Sea and dunes of the desert, the design-led adults-only hotel is unveiling the first phase of an extensive refurbishment that will elevate the Casa Cook lifestyle through enhanced accommodation, refreshed spaces and curated guest experiences that are embodied by the brand’s approach to laid-back luxury.
The enhancements include newly built suites alongside refurbishments rolling out across the remaining accommodation. Guests can also enjoy a completely reimagined design across the swimming pools and surrounding lounge spaces as well as an expanded gym and newly renovated spa pool.
This new chapter is marked by the hotel’s recent inclusion in the 2026 MICHELIN Key selection, placing it among just 13 MICHELIN Key hotels in Egypt and further cementing Casa Cook El Gouna as one of the country’s most distinguished retreats.
New Suites and Refreshed Rooms
Casa Cook El Gouna has unveiled 29 brand new Deluxe Swim-Up Junior Suites, each offering direct access to a semi-private pool. The new suites bring the hotel’s total inventory to 129 rooms and suites across the property, while the existing accommodation has also undergone extensive upgrades, with the final refurbishments set to be completed in 2027. All suites and villas offer direct pool access – from pools shared with just a handful of neighbouring suites to private pools in the Two-Bedroom Villas – now with more privacy and new poolside loungers.
New interiors bring a warm and inviting ambience that embrace Casa Cook’s understated design language, with natural materials, earthy tones, contemporary simplicity and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape. Bathrooms now feature marble finishes while every room and suite has a dedicated workspace and a digital door screen with "Do Not Disturb" doorbell features. Healthy refreshments and an enhanced evening turndown ritual also bring the guest experience further to life.
Reimagined Pools and Wellness Spaces
Across the resort, guest spaces have been enhanced to create a greater sense of privacy and calm. Both the entrance and beach club pool areas have been redesigned with stylish lounge features, including brand-new sun beds and bean bags, creating relaxed settings for guests to unwind. Over the winter months, the beach club and spa pools are heated so guests can enjoy the facilities year round.
Wellness remains central to the Casa Cook El Gouna experience, with the spa and gym both receiving significant upgrades. The gym has almost doubled in size with a refreshed look and new state-of-the-art equipment, while renovations to the spa pool complement a wellness offering rooted in local and Eastern traditions. Guests can enjoy tailored treatments alongside a hammam, steam room, plunge pool and two saunas, creating a tranquil setting to detox, de-stress and reset.
Experiencing El Gouna and Beyond
Guests can explore a range of locally rooted experiences curated by the hotel, including a Hurghada City Tour where they can discover the region’s fishing heritage, visit authentic bazaars and taste local delicacies. Meanwhile, a Desert Flow Experience invites guests to venture out into the desert for an afternoon of exploration and stories followed by sunset yoga on the golden sands and stargazing before heading back to the comfort of the hotel. Onsite, there is the opportunity to participate in complimentary activities including mixology classes and culinary workshops, or for those feeling more active, the hotel offers kitesurfing from its private beach.
Sustainable Practices
Sustainability continues to shape the hotel's operations. Recently, Casa Cook El Gouna was awarded Green Key Certification for the third consecutive year, whilst the hotel holds Green Star status and maintains an ongoing partnership with HEPCA (the Hurghada Environmental Protection and Conservation Association), encompassing staff sustainability training and regular beach clean-ups. Throughout the property, BRITA water filtration systems have been installed to reduce single-use plastic bottles.
A coastal town on Egypt's Red Sea, El Gouna offers 12 km of shoreline, sunshine all year round and a relaxed outdoor lifestyle.
Casa Cook El Gouna is ideally located 30 minutes from Hurghada International Airport. A new weekly flight service from London Gatwick is set to launch in January 2027 with Wizz Air, alongside new regional flights from across the UK launching in February 2027 with Jet2, making the destination more accessible than ever.
Starting room rates, including breakfast, at Casa Cook El Gouna begin at EUR260 per night, depending on the booking period. Until 28th December, guests can also enjoy 15% off stays of three nights or more, with an exclusive ‘Stay Longer & Save’ offer. More details available here.
