The entry of Ruby in this part of the world presents an exciting opportunity for both owners and travellers alike. Ruby is an urban lifestyle brand designed for cosmopolitan, style-conscious travellers seeking authentic experiences in vibrant city destinations. With its signature blend of character and soul, Ruby has built a strong following across Europe through character-rich, design-led hotels rooted in the cities they call home. For owners, the brand offers a highly efficient and adaptable model that is well suited to urban markets, with flexible space requirements and conversion-friendly designs.
Set to open in 2027, the hotel will feature 184 guestrooms and bring the brand's distinctive approach to hospitality to Thailand for the first time. Inspired by the tropical glamour of 1920s Siam, the hotel will combine design, music and local storytelling to create a stay experience rooted in the character of Bangkok.
Signature hallmarks will include a vibrant 24/7 bar, music-led experiences ranging from live evening performances to in-room Marshall speakers and guitars available for guests to borrow, alongside thoughtfully curated spaces and elevated touches such as oversized beds, rainfall showers and seamless self-service technology.
This signing further strengthens IHG's growing presence in Thailand. Today, IHG's portfolio in the country includes 42 open hotels and a pipeline of 41 additional properties across 11 destinations and 11 brands, reflecting sustained confidence in Thailand's long-term tourism growth.
