Douglas N. Dreher has been appointed CEO of The Hotel Group, succeeding Edmond Lee, who founded the company in 1984. Lee will continue to serve as Chairman of the company. Dreher has overseen more than 70 hotels and over 25 new developments in 15 states and Canada. His well-rounded experience includes the supervision of resorts, four-diamond and four-star hotels, and independent properties. His franchise experience extends to major brands like Marriott, Hilton, Doubletree, Sheraton, Crowne Plaza, Radisson, and Holiday Inn. Dreher holds a B.A. in Hotel & Restaurant Administration from Washington State University. He was honored in 2007 as a distinguished alumnus for the 75th anniversary of the School of Hospitality Business Management at WSU for exemplary achievements in hospitality and contributions to WSU. He is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) from the Educational Institute of the American Hotel and Lodging Association.
