Philippe Bonnot has been appointed as General Manager at Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel

After completing three years in the position of General Manager at Mövenpick Tower & Suites Doha, Philippe assumes the leading role at the Ibn Battuta Gate, a five-star hotel, cleverly inspired by the journeys of the 14th century celebrated Arabian explorer, Ibn Battuta. Prior to joining Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, Bonnot has held the General Manager's position in a selection of hotels for Le Méridien group including Cochin & Convention centre in India, Hôtel Le Méridien Heliopolis, Egypt and Hôtel Le Méridien Bruxelles, Belgium. During his 10 years in Le Méridien Bonnot was involve in major projects within each hotel ranging from effective cost saving plans, tackling new markets, reaching high scores on both employee satisfaction surveys and guest satisfaction indexes. With multiple international degrees in food and beverage and hotel management along with years of practical and on the ground experience, Bonnot is known for his sales and marketing skills and development strategies and as well building management and employee relationships.
