The upcoming Hyatt Regency Riyadh has appointed Olaya Nizar Weshah as general manager. Weshah will lead the preopening of the property which is expected to launch in quarter two of 2013. Having attained a hotel management degree from Al Mustansiriy University in Iraq, Weshah joined the Hyatt Hotels Corporation as outlet manager at Grand Hyatt Amman where he was later appointed as assistant director of food and beverage in July 1999. Since then Weshah has worked in several other Hyatt hotels around the world such as Hyatt Hotels Baku, Grand Hyatt Muscat, Hyatt Regency Belgrade and his prior position as director of operations for Park Hyatt Jeddah
