Randy Hassen has been promoted to President at McKibbon Hospitality

In Hassen’s new role, he will oversee the activities of all respective departments within the management company, including Sales & Marketing, Human Resources, Revenue Management, eCommerce, Communications, Food & Beverage, and Engineering, and will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Vann Herring. In Baerwalde’s role, he will assume responsibility for all hotel operations, overseeing the activities of the company’s Directors of Operations, and will report to President Randy Hassen. Randy Hassen joined McKibbon in 1991 as a houseman at the Courtyard by Marriott in Athens, Georgia while he was a student at the University of Georgia. He progressed through a variety of positions of responsibility at the hotel, and accepted his first general manager assignment as the opening GM of the Courtyard by Marriott Tampa North in 1995, where he was awarded General Manager of the Year honors from Marriott International. In 1998, he went on to open a second hotel, the Courtyard by Marriott Tampa Downtown. Randy was promoted to Director of Operations in 2000, Vice President of Operations in 2007 and Senior Vice President of Operations in 2009.
