Gerhard Hecker
has been appointed general manager at Shangri-La Hotel in Dubai. In his new capacity, he will oversee all daily operations of the 492 hotel rooms, serviced apartments and private residences. He moved to Dubai from Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta, where he also held the position of general manager.
