Debbie Taylor has been appointed as Managing Director North West England at Macdonald Hotels (UK)

Debbie Taylor, the former President of Hospitality and Real Estate at Kohler Co, is the new Managing Director for Manchester and much of the North West of Macdonald Hotels & Resorts. Debbie is one of only nine women in the world to hold the prestigious accolade of Master Innholder. She stewarded Kohler Co hospitality group during a period of growth, its portfolio including The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa in St Andrews and the American Club and Whistling Straits golf resort in the US. At Macdonald’s she will oversee the operation and sales and marketing across her region. Macdonald Kilhey Court, near Wigan, and Macdonald Craxton Wood Hotel are being re-launched following a £2m investment in refurbishment. Other key properties now reporting to her are Macdonald New Blossoms Hotel, in Chester, Macdonald Manchester Hotel & Spa and Macdonald Townhouse Hotel, Manchester and The Lymm in Warrington.
