Vincent Miccolis has been appointed as Area General Manager GCC at The Ascott Limited

Having been with the company since 1997, with senior roles in London, Brussels, Marseilles and Paris, he will be responsible for overseeing its operations and driving growth in the GCC. Ascott head for the GCC Sym Lee said: “There is significant growth potential for our serviced residences in the Gulf region as the government continues to invest in infrastructure development and attract foreign investments. “This will drive demand for international-class serviced residences from expatriates and travellers. With Vincent’s extensive expertise in the industry and strong expertise in operations, he will be able to lead the team to further grow Ascott’s business in the region." Ascott recently signed two more serviced residences in Jeddah, strengthening its portfolio in Saudi Arabia to nearly 700 apartment units across five serviced residences. Miccolis said he will look to build on the growth it has already experienced in the region. “We will strengthen our presence in major cities such as Jeddah, Riyadh and Muscat where we have properties and seek opportunities in new cities such as Mecca and Kuwait City,” he added.
