During his career he has also worked at Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons near Oxford and Gidleigh Park in Devon. He has also studied at Cranfield on a Master Innholder Scholarship. Mr Foulkes said the appointment marked a new chapter in his career and was giving him the opportunity to take an entrepreneurial role to further the business and position of the Abbey Hotel.
