Gilles Nicolas has been appointed as General Manager at Crowne Plaza Bahrain

Gilles Nicolas
Nicolas is a French national boasting 19 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, having worked across six different countries in three continents. He has a degree in hotel management from a hospitality school in Paris and a MBA from the University of Liverpool. Nicolas arrives from his position as resident manager at InterContinental Hotel Doha, after ten years with IHG in the UK, Dubai and Doha. He began at the Holiday Inn London Regent’s Park in England as food and beverage manager, then after a year was promoted to acting operations manager. His next assignment was at the Holiday Inn Guildford, England, before he flew to the Middle East and took the helm as director of operations at Holiday Inn Dubai Al Barsha. In his previous role at the InterContinental Doha, Nicolas was instrumental in helping the team to increase the overall performance of the hotel.
