Robert Barker has joined the team at Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate as general manager. Barker brings more than 30 years of industry experience to his new role, having worked in 13 different countries around the world, including China, Indonesia, Belgium, Venezuela, and Japan. The British national has previously worked within four Hilton and four Hyatt hotels. Prior to joining Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate, Barker was general manager of Mövenpick Hotel & Appointments Bur Dubai for five years.
