Eirik Bergvoll has been appointed the new General Manager of the Steigenberger Hotel Business Bay. The hotel will open in October 2015. Eirik Bergvoll can look back on 25 years of international experience in the hotel business. After completing a degree in Hotel Management in the UK, he took on management roles in Norway, Lithuania, Oman, South Africa and most recently in Estonia and worked among others for the Carlson Rezidor Group. Two further Steigenberger Hotel Group projects in the form of the Steigenberger Hotel Doha Airport Road and the InterCityHotel Culture Village are already at the construction stage in the United Arab Emirates.

Eirik Bergvoll is an alumnus of University of Surrey | School of Hospitality and Tourism Management – Class of 1989.
