Mohamed Abdo has been appointed as director of sales and marketing at Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate in Dubai. Boasting more than a decade of hospitality industry experience, Abdo, a Jordanian national, has spent a total of seven years in Dubai. He proudly holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality and Tourism Management from Bournemouth University. He kick-started his hospitality career as an assistant sales manager for Rotana Hotels in Dubai. Following this, he worked with a selection of world-respected companies including Carlson Rezidor and Rotana. Preceding his employment at Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate, Abdo served as the director of sales and marketing for Mövenpick Hotel & Apartments Bur Dubai for one and a half years.
