Andrea Strim has assumed the position of executive assistant manager in charge of F&B at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates in Dubai. Having kick-started his career in hospitality as a management trainee in Italy in 1990, Strim went on to serve as a chef de partie-sous chef at a boutique hotel in 1992. He then spent 20 years working his way up through the Brigade de Cuisine with luxury hotels and resorts spanning Italy, Japan and the UAE. Prior to joining the Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates team, Strim served with the Jumeirah Group for a decade, where he collection in-depth experience in managing large teams and high volume operations. His qualifications comprise of diplomas in F&B and hotel management, and he has completed several courses with The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management in Dubai.
