Bill DeWitt has been appointed as Vice President of Operations at Hospitality Management LLC

Bill DeWitt joined Hospitality Management as VP of operations, overseeing the company’s Best Western Plus, Best Western and Econo Lodge properties in Kansas and Oklahoma. DeWitt, who holds both CHA (Certified Hotel Administrator) and CHIA (Certified Hotel Industry Analytics) designations, will oversee staff training, sales and revenue management and general day-to-day operations. DeWitt joins the firm from Best Western International, where he was a regional services manager overseeing 50 Best Western-branded upper- and mid-scale properties in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas. A graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management, he brings more than 30 years of national-brand hospitality management experience to the job. Throughout his career he has held corporate positions for sales, marketing and quality assurance with Intercontinental Hotels Group, Marriott Hotels and Red Lion Hotels. DeWitt says the opportunity to work with Martens was a major factor in making the switch from corporate operations to franchisee.
