Courtyard by Marriott and Marriott Executive Apartments, Green Community in Dubai has appointed Anna Collier as the new general manager for both properties. Collier studied Catering & Institutional Management and Advanced Hotel Management at the University of Salford, following which she started her hotel career with Marriott. Collier’s first position was at Worsley Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club in Manchester as an assistant restaurant manager. This was the start of a journey with Marriott that has spanned 17 years. Collier has picked up a few accolades along the way, having been awarded ‘Manager of the Year’ in the UK every year during her four years at the Liverpool Marriott Hotel. Anna also led her F&B team to different honours throughout the UK during her tenure at Marriott Worsley Park Hotel & Country Club. Looking for a new challenge, Collier relocated to Dubai with her family in 2013, where she was pre-opening resident manager at the Marriott Hotel & Marriott Executive Apartments Al Jaddaf, Dubai.
