Michael Jabbour has been appointed as Hotel Manager at InterContinental Muscat

Michael Jabbour
Boasting more than 18 years of experience in the rooms division, Jabbour aims to ensure guest satisfaction, loyalty rewards and quality. He first became a part of the IHG family in 2000 at InterContinental Phoenicia Beirut and later moved to InterContinental Aqaba, Jordan to work in the front office department. Here, he rapidly rose through the ranks and became the front office manager and acting director of rooms within a few years. In 2011 Jabbour joined Crowne Plaza Dubai Sheikh Zayed Road as front office manager and was later promoted to rooms division manager. During his stint, he consistently achieved targets in his department. He was also responsible for quality and continuous improvement, and introduced best practices to improve IHG Rewards targets. Following this, he was appointed as IHG Loyalty Rewards Program leader for the UAE by the corporate office. In his free time Jabbour enjoys playing basketball and football, listening to music, when and travelling. He will be joined in Muscat by his wife and two children.
