David Harb has joined the Grand Hyatt Dubai as Executive Assistant Manager (EAM)

David Harb has joined Grand Hyatt Dubai as the executive assistant manager. The new appointment will be effective from May 1, 2016. Harb will report directly to the recently appointed new general manager at the property, Fathi Khogaly. Harb has been promoted to the new role as EAM from his position as EAM of F&B at sister property Hyatt Regency Dubai. A graduate in hospitality management, Harb began his career with Hyatt in 2002, working as the assistant F&B manager at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans in Louisiana, US. He subsequently worked at several other Hyatt properties in the US, including Hyatt Regency Savannah; Hyatt Regency Bonaventure Conference Centre and Spa, Florida; Hyatt Lodge in Chicago (where he was director of F&B for two years), and the Grand Hyatt Seattle and Hyatt @ Olive 8 cluster, where he worked as area director of F&B. Harb moved to the UAE and joined the Hyatt Regency Dubai as director of F&B in 2012. Earlier this year, in February 2016, Harb was promoted to EAM for F&B. He joins the Grand Hyatt Dubai directly from this role.
