Laura Zanfirescu has been appointed as Executive Housekeeper at Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel & Suites

In her native Spain, Zanfirescu worked in the housekeeping division for InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, AccorHotels and Jumierah Group. Zanfirescu joins the Dubai-based hotel from Qatar, where she has been working in the private office of a royal family, first as executive housekeeper, and later promoted to assistant general manager for their hospitality operations. Zanfirescu started working as a housekeeper for the Intercontinental Mar Menor Golf Resort in Murcia, where she was later promoted to executive housekeeper. After a nearly two year stint as quality manager at Accor’s Mercure Thalasia Costa de Murcia, Zanfirescu rejoined the Intercontinental as executive housekeeper. Zanfirescu later joined Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa in Mallorca as executive housekeeper. Zanfirescu holds a diploma in hospitality management from the Hospitality Management School in Seville, Spain. She is currently studying for a masters in hospitality management.
