Jonathan M. Tisch will resume the duties of CEO of Loews Hotels following the departure of Kirk Kinsell, effective immediately. Kinsell informed the company of his decision to resign for personal reasons. Tisch will continue to serve as chairman of Loews Hotels and co-chairman of the Board for Loews Corporation. Jonathan is widely recognized as a passionate advocate on behalf of the multi-billion dollar travel and tourism industry. He founded and served as chairman of the Travel Business Roundtable until 2008, and now serves as chairman emeritus of its successor organization, the United States Travel Association, the national non-profit association representing all segments of the travel industry. He has received numerous honors and accolades for his leadership, including Hotel Person of the Year by Travel Agent magazine, one of the Business Travel Industry's Most Influential Executives by Business Travel News, and one of the 25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry by Meeting News magazine.
