Leo Spriggs, President and CEO of Hospitality Management Corporation (HMC), has promoted Libby Shaw to VP of Human Resources. Ms Shaw will be responsible for a wide variety of duties including the administration and management of recruitment and staffing, benefits administration, supervise workers’ compensation and ongoing development and training. She will also handle all personnel issues associated with managed property transitions and new hotel openings. Ms Shaw brings more than 10 years of diverse experience in the hospitality industry and holds a degree in hotel, travel and tourism. Previously at HMC, she held the position of Corporate Director and Assistant Director of Human Resources, as well as General Manager.
