Sam El Asmar has been promoted to Corporate Vice President – Revenue & Distribution at Rotana

Rotana, one of the leading hotel management companies in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and Eastern Europe, has announced the promotion of Sam El Asmar to Corporate Vice President – Revenue & Distribution. Previously Corporate Director of Revenue, El Asmar joined Rotana in 2012 bringing with him 14 years of experience in hotel revenue management and distribution. In his new role, El Asmar will be responsible for defining and setting the revenue strategy for all new Rotana openings in 2017 and beyond as well as overseeing the rollout of the company’s IDeas G3 revenue management system across its global network of properties. He will also assume responsibility for enhancing Rotana’s revenue platform with automated tools and comprehensive business analysis, as well as enlarging the company’s distribution network to include new partners and markets. Prior to joining Rotana five years ago, El Asmar worked with leading international hotel chains including Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Concorde Hotels & Resorts. He holds an MBA in Hospitality Management IMHI from ESSEC Business School, Paris.
