Journal Hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Don A. Jacinto to Managing Director. In this role, Jacinto will be responsible for the continued success of The Hollywood Roosevelt ​in Los Angeles ​as it celebrates its 90th anniversary this year and the historic, boutique Hotel G in San Francisco’s Union Square. With over 15 years of experience in luxury hotel management, Jacinto joins Journal Hotels with an extensive and knowledgeable background of the industry. Familiar with the brand, Jacinto served as General Manager of The Hollywood Roosevelt for three years starting in 2008. Most recently, Jacinto was the General Manager at The New York EDITION and the Managing Director at Row NYC. Prior to that, he worked as the General Manager at Commune Hotels & Resorts’ Dream Inn and was the Regional Vice President for King & Grove Hotels. Jacinto also grew in various management roles with Morgans Hotel Group. He is a graduate of the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and English Literature.
