Fabrice Ducry has been appointed as General Manager at Sofitel Dubai Downtown

ucry has 20 years' experience in the hospitality industry, having held senior management roles within hospitality companies such as Ritz-Carlton and AccorHotels, including over seven years with the Sofitel brand in Dubai, UAE and Angkor Siem Reap, Cambodia from 2008 to 2014. He has operated in various markets and destinations such as Florida, Jamaica, Mauritius, South East Asia and Dubai, and has experience in a variety of luxury hotels, from beach resorts to gateway city hotels. Ducry joins Sofitel Dubai Downtown from his most recent position as general manager of The Palace Downtown The property's previous general manager, Ammar Hilal, has moved to Fairmont Dubai as its general manager.

Fabrice Ducry is an alumnus of EHL Hospitality Business School – Class of 1998.
