Monir Al Yazji has joined Amwaj Rotana Jumeirah Beach, Dubai, taking on the position of Director of Materials. Monir first joined Rotana hotels in January 2008 overseeing the purchasing teams of three Rotana properties as Cluster Director of Materials and is now an integral part of the management team at Amwaj Rotana. Apart from being multi-lingual with strong command of Arabic, English and French languages, Monir is a recipient of a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Business Administration from the Lincoln College of Technology, United Arab Emirates. With a career that stretches over 27 years in Dubai alone, Monir brings a variety of remarkable skills and sound knowledge to the table. In his new position, he will oversee the purchasing team and also contribute to upcoming projects that the hotel has embarked on including the opening of a new restaurant and lounge by the end of the year.
