Neil Houghton has been appointed as General Manager at Intercontinental Abu Dhabi
InterContinental Abu Dhabi has announced the appointment of new General Manager Neil Houghton to manage overall hotel operations for the award-winning hotel located in the heart of Abu Dhabi.
Originally from the UK, Neil Houghton brings more than 30 years of leadership in the hospitality industry, 20 years of which have been with IHG as General Manager.
Houghton most resent General Manager position was at InterContinental Hotel Shanghai Pudong and prior to that, as General Manager for InterContinental Hotel Kunming and Crowne Plaza Shenzhen and InterContinental Golf Resort & Spa Fiji.
Houghton will undertake strategic responsibility as General Manager of InterContinental Abu Dhabi by overseeing all hotel activity, ensuring the hotel's exceptional standards are exceeded and creating a welcoming community for guests, guaranteeing customer satisfaction and the ongoing superior service InterContinental Abu Dhabi is renowned for.
