Amy Bell

The Adolphus, Dallas' premier luxury boutique property, proudly welcomes a new Spa Director, Amy Bell, to oversee operations for its destination Spa Adolphus. Bell brings more than a decade of industry experience, working with luxury brands such as The Ritz-Carlton and high-end skin care lines such as Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare.

The luxury wellness enclave located on the hotel's seventh floor wellness deck features six personal treatment rooms, a couple's therapy room with a private terrace, a serene indoor and outdoor relaxation area with a patio overlooking the city, a hair and manicure salon, and a private event space. The 5,000-square-foot spa, open as of October 2016, boasts plant-based products and organic fragrances from New York City based pioneer in beauty wellness, Red Flower, as well as a curated retail selection designed to promote beauty inside and out. Bell plans to offer additional product lines such as Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare and Kerstin Florian, and will be the first spa in the country to offer Alpyn Beauty, a wild harvested and hand cultivated US-based skincare line. A food menu featuring light, healthy offerings such as Compressed Watermelon Salad and Cheese & Charcuterie is also available for guests.

In her role, Bell will introduce fresh signature treatments, new bridal packages, and new seasonal services, to keep spa guests excited to visit again and again. New signature treatments include "The 1912," a special body treatment that will coincide with the 1912 signature cocktail, and the Gua Sha Facial which is a method of facial massage to relive tension in muscles and boost circulation. This month, Bell created a seasonal Apple Cinnamon Body Experience, incorporating an apple cinnamon sugar scrub, melted caramel body wrap and apple spice body butter to leave skin glowing for the holiday season. An Apple Cinnamon Pedicure and Manicure accompanies the treatment as part of the Holiday Spice Package (2 hours and 15 minutes, $170) available through December 31st. In January 2019, Bell will roll out promotions every week day, in addition to a Loyal Locals program for Dallas residents which will also include access to The Adolphus rooftop pool and state-of-the-art fitness facility located next to the spa. Bell also plans to introduce Botox parties in collaboration with a local plastic surgeon in the coming months.

"Wellness is a key pillar for our business and leisure guests, and Amy's leadership and expertise in her field will launch an exciting new chapter for our destination spa," said Brett Orlando, Senior Vice President of Operations at Makeready, the company who has led the repositioning for The Adolphus and Spa Adolphus. "We're happy to have her on the team to contribute to the stellar experience our guests recognize The Adolphus for."

Bell developed her expertise and passion for skin care most recently as a spa professional at DERMAFLASH, a revolutionary facial care product line, and during her tenure with Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare. Previously, Bell served as the Spa Manager for the Ritz-Carlton, Denver and The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas for more than seven years.
