Thomas Roman

Castlerock Asset Management, an acclaimed, Nashville-based hospitality ownership and management group, today announced the appointment of Thomas Roman as its corporate director of food & beverage. Roman will oversee development and execution of food and beverage strategy and operations for the group's hotel properties including Nashville's award-winning Bobby Hotel; The Westin Tampa Bay and The Westin Nashville.

A graduate of George Washington University, Roman began his hospitality career at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. in partnership with Restaurant Associates. In 2010, he worked in sales with global titans Budweiser and Coca-Cola before moving on to management roles with the Gerber Group, where he managed outlets at W Times Square, Westin Grand Central, Whiskey Park and Stone Rose Lounge in Columbus Circle's Time Warner Center. He then transitioned into a director of food & beverage role with Dream Hotel Group, where he oversaw food and beverage strategy and the relaunches of signature concepts Serafina and Le Grande lounge at The Time Hotel before moving on to become a member of the opening leadership team for the esteemed Tao Group. In his role with Tao Group, he assisted with launching the brand's outposts in Los Angeles, specifically serving as the general manager of the Highlight Room at Dream Hollywood before accepting his most recent role as the director of nightlife operations for PUBLIC Hotel in New York City before relocating to Nashville.

In his role with Castlerock, Roman looks forward to creating and implementing forward-thinking food and beverage programming for both in-room and venue dining; ensuring continued profitability across the brand portfolio and upholding the longstanding reputation of customer service excellence that Castlerock is known for.
