Maxwell Spangler has been appointed as Corporate Technology & Systems Manager at Charlestowne Hotels

Leading hospitality management company Charlestowne Hotels announces the promotion of Maxwell Spangler to the newly formed role of corporate technology & systems manager. Max will now lead data and I.T. support for Charlestowne while expanding strategic portfolio-wide initiatives, including designing, developing and deploying new software and innovative technology systems.

With a strong background in hotel operations and systems programming, Max will lead Charlestowne Hotels through today's complex, technology-driven hotel landscape. He will manage I.T. vendor contracts and analyze property data to provide solutions which improve operating efficiencies, reduce expenses, and maximize revenue. Max will also support corporate operations directors in portfolio-oversight administrative functions. 

Max uniquely brings seven years of hospitality experience to this new technology-focused role, with the majority of his career spent working in front-of-house and corporate positions within the Charlestowne Hotels portfolio. In his most recent position as Charlestowne's corporate operations manager, Max utilized his software engineering skills to attain optimum performance in financial reporting, strategic capital planning, and advancing technologies for a range of independent properties. Most notably, Max founded and deployed Groupify, a hospitality software applicationwhich manages and increases Charlestowne's group business when filling guest rooms and booking function spaces, resulting in banquet revenue growth and increased profitability.
