Samir Arora has been named Cluster General Manager at R Hotels
R Hotels has named Samir Arora as its cluster general manager, now tasked with leading three hotels across Dubai.
These are The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel, Ramada by Wyndham Downtown Dubai, and ibis Styles Jumeira Dubai.
Arora was general manager of both Ramada by Wyndham Downtown Dubai and Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Dubai before moving to The Retreat Palm Dubai to head its pre-opening in 2017. His career spans more than 25 years.
After starting with Taj, he became an F&B supervisor for Wyndham Worldwide in Bahrain. After a long career in F&B across various hotels, he landed his first operational role in 2002 as training manager for Le Mériden Mina Seyahi Resort and Marina.
