Carson Booth has been appointed Board Member at Zaplox AB
The Board of Directors of Zaplox AB (publ) announces that Carson Booth has been appointed as a new board member at the Annual General Meeting on May 26, 2021. Carson Booth brings extensive international management and technology experience from the hospitality industry to the Zaplox board, completing the boards existing comprehensive expertise.
Carson Booth has over 30 years of experience from international business management and development of technology solutions for the hospitality industry. His track record includes numerous strategic roles such as Chief Executive Officer of SnapShot, a Shiji Group Brand, where he successfully led the conversion and full integration of the data and analytics startup into the Shiji Group portfolio of technology offerings. Shiji Group is a prominent vendor of technology solutions to the hospitality industry and was the previous owner of the well renowned StayNTouch property management system (PMS).
Prior to joining SnapShot, Carson Booth had the role of Global Vice President, Property Technology for Starwood Hotels & Resorts (Marriott) leading the Global Property Technology organization in supporting approx.1200+ hotels in 100 countries. Booth was also General Manager for Starwood International Licensing Company Sàrl, Luxembourg, a wholly owned subsidiary of Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
Presently Carson Booth holds the role as Chief Operating Officer at POS8 Ltd, where he directs the launch and scale-up of the mobile Food & Beverage product FETCH. In addition to his leadership and technology experience Booth's broad knowledge includes active and previous directorships in HFTP, the producer of the industry's largest technology show, HITEC®, and HTNG, as well as strategic planning, revenue generation, P&L management, performance optimization, with multi-cultural and multi-geographic organization leadership.
