Nicholas Patmore

Nicholas Patmore has been promoted to hotel manager at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai. Patmore has worked at the property for five years.

He joined the hotel, one of the tallest five-star hotels in the world, in 2016 as director of F&B. In this capacity, he oversaw 14 dining outlets and bars, as well as the hotel's busy banqueting division. He later rose up to director of rooms and then director of operations before taking his new post.

As director of rooms, he drove growth for the hotel along with achieving high scores in guest satisfaction levels.

Patmore will still have a firm focus on F&B in his new role, entrusted with introducing new dining experiences later this month.

In 2016, he was the driving force behind the launch of the Wanderlust Brunch and later the opening of the outdoor licensed terrace Cafe Artois. His stint as the hotel's F&B head earned him F&B Manager of the Year at the 2017 Hotelier Middle East Awards.

Before JW, he was F&B director at Atlantis The Palm, and EAM for One&Only Cape Town before that.
