Spyridon Georgakopoulos has been appointed as General Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Amman

Four Seasons Hotel Amman in Jordan has appointed Spyridon Georgakopoulos as its hotel manager. Originally hailing from Greece, Georgakopoulos has spent the last 15 years travelling the world thanks to hospitality.

Since 2005, he has worked across Greece, Ireland, KSA, Azerbaijan, Thailand, Lebanon and Qatar. Having also studied at the lauded hospitality school Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne also. His work background is in F&B. He started as the manager of a restaurant and wine cellar for a hotel in Crete back in 2005.

By 2008 he was in Ireland as the manager of F&B operations at The Heritage Golf & Spa Resort. Later moving to Doubletree by Hilton in Dhahran for a similar role. He then spent three months in Thailand before moving to Baku to start a lengthy career with Hilton.

He worked his way from F&B manager in Baku, to cluster F&B director in Thailand. Then to cluster director of hotel operations in Beirut and then director of hotel operations in Doha.

In this new role, he will assist with the day to day operations of the Jordanian hotel. Stepping in soon after an extensive refurbishment at the property.

Spyridon Georgakopoulos is an alumnus of EHL Hospitality Business School – Class of 2003.
