Igor Mitric has been appointed as Director of Wellness at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert
Igor Mitric is the new director of wellness at the Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert. Mitric is a spa development professional with more than 15 years of international experience within luxury hotel spas and wellness centres.
Since starting in his new role, Mitric has worked to elevate the wellness experiences offered at the resort.
His appointment at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert, marks Mitric's first role in the UAE. He will lead the redesign of the resort's spa and fitness facilities, in conjunction with Marriott International's EMEA luxury spa division.
Over the next few months, Mitric will also develop and implement an array of treatments and activities as well as special packages, to enhance the overall guest experience. He will also oversee the resort's recently launched wellness retreats.
Mitric will also collaborate with the resort's culinary team to develop healthy treats.
Mitric's strengths lie in spa management and innovation. He is a qualified spa trainer and holds a Level 3 award in education & training. With extensive experience in the UK, Mitric has held leadership positions with prestigious spa and wellness brands including Prismologie International, ESPA International and Bulgari Hotels and Resorts, as well as founding his own spa business development and consulting agency.
