Alan Snyman has been appointed as Executive Chef at Rotana Hotels at the Capital Centre Complex

Alan Snyman is the new executive chef for Rotana Hotels at the Capital Centre Complex in Abu Dhabi. Snyman will leverage almost three decades of culinary experience at Pearl Rotana Capital Centre, Centro Capital Centre and Capital Centre Arjaan.

For Snyman, the new move is a natural evolution in his long and successful career with Rotana. During his most recent role at Amwaj Rotana Hotel in JBR, he made it onto Hotelier Middle East's inaugural list of the region's 50 best executive chefs in hotels.

Over the course of his career, he has served food for heads of state, celebrities and even royalty. These include the Queen of Belgium, King of Greece, Queen Rania of Jordan, Nicholas Cage, Donald Sutherland, The Black Eyed Peas, Kate Moss, Robbie Williams, Bryan Adams, Naomi Campbell, Jean Claude van Damme, and Nelson Mandela on three separate occasions.

Prior to the JBR hotel, Snyman has worked for Yas Island Rotana, Grand Rotana Resort and Spa in Egypt and Towers Rotana Hotel, all in the executive chef position.

In his new role, the chef will be responsible to oversee and develop the culinary direction for the three hotels' restaurants, which include The Warehouse Wine & Tapas Bar and Dino's Bistro Italiano.
