Lance Tucker has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Davidson Hospitality Group
Leading hospitality management company Davidson Hospitality Group has appointed Lance Tucker as Chief Financial Officer. In his new role, Tucker will be tasked with overseeing budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the company's long-term strategy, developing tools and analytical systems to create value and optimize organizational performance against annual budgets, and assisting in the establishment of yearly financial objectives.
Tucker will report directly to Davidson's Chief Executive Officer & President Thom Geshay. He will also be responsible for engaging the board finance, audit, and investment committees surrounding trends and changes in operating models and operational delivery.
With more than 25 years of experience, Tucker holds a seasoned track record in finance for corporations across diverse industries, from restaurant franchising and real estate development to technology consulting, education services and online retail. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of CKE Restaurants, Inc. where he led all finance and accounting functions for the organization. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Jack in the Box, Inc., a more than 2,200-unit restaurant chain. His resume also includes a 14-plus-year tenure at Papa John's International, Inc. where he ascended from Director of Finance to Chief Financial Officer, successfully implemented recurring dividends and negotiated joint venture agreements for global business.
Tucker is a licensed certified public accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Transylvania University in Lexington, Ky.
