Turgay Erdogan has been promoted to General Manager at Rixos Premium Dubai JBR
Rixos Premium Dubai has promoted its hotel manager to the position of GM. Turgay Erdogan now finds himself in his first general manager position after 22 years of progression through the industry.
Coming from a food and beverage background, Erodan was a head waiter for Jasmine Court Hotel in 2003, moving to Hilton in 2007. By 2010, he was director of food and beverage at Hilton Dalaman Saarigerme Resort & Spa in Turkey. Staying in the role for six years, he moved on to Rixos in 2016 as director of F&B at the vast and all-inclusive Rixos The Palm Dubai.
He has been at Rixos Premium Dubai in JBR since 2017, starting out as its director of F&B before moving to operations for the first time in 2019 as the property's hotel manager.
While Erdogan has moved to the operational side of hospitality, his hotel presents a myriad of opportunities for him to continue developing food and beverage. The hotel contains, is connected to, or is within close proximity to the likes of Lock Stock and Barrel, Black Tap, Asil, Azure Beach Restaurant, Godiva Café, Turquoise Restaurant, Ammos Greek Restaurant, STK Restaurant and Luigia Ristorante.
