Melissa Corrigan has been appointed as Vice President of People, Culture and Experiences at Harrah’s Resort Southern California
Harrah's Resort Southern California has announced the appointment of its new Vice President of People, Culture and Experiences Melissa Corrigan who brings more than 20 years of industry experience to Funner, California. In her new role, Corrigan will oversee the property's people and culture functions while assisting the executive team in setting and executing against the resort's overall strategic and tactical plans.
Having spent 20 years with one of Southern California's most recognized companies and brands, Jack In the Box, Inc., Corrigan joins the Harrah's Resort Southern California team with exceptional knowledge and expertise in talent acquisition and development, employee relations and corporate communications. Her professional journey began with a role in the training department at Jack In the Box, Inc. From there she was promoted to Manager of Human Resources Development and quickly advanced to Director of Learning Development, Director of Human Resources, Vice President of Human Resources and Vice President of HR and Total Rewards. Most recently, Corrigan served as Chief Human Resources Officer for the entire Jack In The Box, Inc. enterprise where she received multiple HR and leadership certifications and was awarded the HR Management Impact Award from SIOP and SHRM.
Corrigan was born and raised in San Diego's North County where she currently resides with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys the challenge of a good crossword puzzle and the adventure of snorkeling and traveling.
