Roger Saad has been appointed as General Manager at Park Hyatt Doha
The Park Hyatt Doha in Qatar has a new general manager. Roger Saad steps into the role, bringing with him a combined decade of experience with various Hyatt flags.
In his new role, Saad will head up all operations of the hotel, coordinating all departments together and bringing out the full potential for all of them. In particular, the new GM is gearing up the hotel for the number World Cup season.
Saad has been in the industry since 2003, starting out as an assistant sales manager for Hilton in Paris. Staying in the capital for a year, he moved to The Diplomatic Club of Doha as a sales and marketing executive.
He began with Hyatt in 2006 as assistant director of sales for the Hyatt Regency Dubai, staying for two years to later return to Paris with Concorde Hotels. He would then work with the Four Seasons Hotel Beirut for over four years as director of sales before returning to the Hyatt family in 2014.
From 2014 to 2018 he worked with the Park Hyatt Dubai, starting as its DOSM and climbing to EAM sales and marketing and later acting GM. He served as acting GM of the opulent resort for nine months, returning to Paris one more time as director of operations at Park Hyatt Paris Vendome.
His most recent position before Park Hyatt Doha was GM at Hyatt Regency Algiers Airport.
Roger Saad is an alumnus of Ecole Superiere Internationale de Savignac – Class of 2003.
