John Marques has been promoted to EVP Operations at Island Hospitality Management LLC

A 30-plus-year hospitality veteran, Marques joined Island Hospitality as regional director of operations in 2006. Previous roles include regional vice president for Musselman Hotels and senior vice president for Magna Hotels. Marques was instrumental in developing and implementing Island Hospitality's TEAM concept, a highly regarded program that improves associate relations by creating culture and recognizing individual and team efforts.
