Dinesh Pitigalage has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at Fairmont The Palm
Fairmont The Palm Dubai has announced a top-level appointment within its F&B department. Dinesh Pitigalage has stepped up to the plate as director of F&B at the Palm Jumeirah resort.
Reporting to the hotel's resident manager, Pitigalage now leads a team of more than 140 people across six restaurants and two bars. Dining outlets include the popular Little Miss India, the Middle Eastern Al Magheeb restaurant and Ba - Boldly Asian.
Pitigalage has a decade of experience in F&B operations, working with Address Hotels as an assistant restaurant and bar manager from 2011 to 2015. He later became restaurant manager of Zeta Restaurant and Lounge until 2016.
Joining Accor, he starting as an outlet manager in 2016, moving up to food and beverage operations manager in 2018. From 2019 until now, he was assistant director of F&B.
